Trust & compliance

On the consumer’s side, and able to prove it.

Plan alignment only works if consumers, regulators and our customers can trust the answer. These are the commitments behind every alignment we run.

Neutral by design

Ranked by the consumer’s costs. Nothing else.

Plans are always ranked by the consumer’s own expected out-of-pocket costs. The ranking is never weighted by carrier, by plan, by commission, or by who paid for the alignment.

Distributors may apply filters, such as limiting results to the carriers their agents are appointed with. Those filters are the distributor’s own choices and should be disclosed to the consumer.

Documented fit

The CMS pre-enrollment checks, on record

Before enrolling a consumer, agents must check whether the consumer’s drugs are on the plan’s formulary, whether their pharmacy and doctors are in network, and their cost preferences (42 CFR 422.2274(c)(12) and 423.2274(c)(12)).

Every alignment covers those checks before the conversation starts and leaves a record, so any enrollment can be compared with the consumer’s best-fit plans.

Consumer data

How we handle the information consumers share

No health information kept

We use the medications, doctors and care details a consumer shares to run their alignment. We don’t keep their personal health information afterward; anything retained for analysis is de-identified.

Encrypted and US-hosted

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and our systems are hosted in the United States on Google Cloud.

Consent first

Alignment runs only when a consumer chooses to share their information. Our customers capture consent in their own experience and are responsible for their own marketing compliance.

Industry standards

Raising the bar for lead quality

Inspire Health Tech is a founding member of the Lead Quality Alliance, a group of consumer-focused lead generators, technology companies and insurers working to change the way insurance products are marketed.

Our CEO co-founded the Insurance Marketing Coalition to align lead generators with best practices, ethics and regulations, and founded the Lead Market Forum, a community for leaders in insurance lead generation.

We don’t sell insurance. Inspire Health Tech is a technology company. We are not an insurance agency, broker or carrier, we don’t market plans to consumers, and we never compete with our customers for consumers. Plan alignment results are informational and do not replace advice from a licensed agent.
